IShowSpeed hits viral move to earn a WrestleMania moment alongside Logan Paul
The opening match of WrestleMania 42's Saturday card saw a six-man tag featuring popular internet streamer IShowSpeed teaming with fellow online influencer Logan Paul and Austin Theory, Paul's ally in The Vision, facing The Usos and L.A. Knight.
Did the YouTube, sports, and gaming streamer bad guys defeat the united team of good guys?
No matter: The biggest moment of the match happened afterward, courtesy of Speed himself as another feather in his cap in his short but impactful WWE career.

IShowSpeed splashes Logan Paul through a table
My first WrestleMania 42 match prediction came true, in a roundabout way.
Speed made a mistake that cost his team the match, allowing Knight to hit his BFT finisher on Theory to lock in the win.
Paul and Theory attempted a post-match beatdown on the internet sensation, but the babyfaces came in to save him -- and lined up Paul prone on an announcer's table.
Speed took their cue and hit a splash through the table on Paul, stealing the loudmouth's signature "viral moment" in the best spot of this match:

What's next for IShowSpeed in WWE after WrestleMania 42?
This wasn't IShowSpeed's first foray in the WWE. The 21-year-old named Darren Jason Watkins Jr. participated in, but - of course - ultimately lost, the 2025 Royal Rumble. Beforehand, he was speared into another dimension by Bron Breakker:

Now that he was helped out by the good guys, Speed could make more cameos with the popular Usos and Knight, though he's unlikely to have a weekly role on TV programming.
He jokingly said he was done with WWE after taking the Breakker spear, and obviously came back.
Speed has been involved in pre-taped packages to hype this match, and though it may be too early to say he could have a rise similar to Paul's, he's earned credit from fans after this display, especially for someone of his young age.
Just as the case was with Paul's entry into the pro wrestling world, expect WWE booking to lean on his athleticism to continue endearing him to viewers. As for the little traits of the business, he'll look to learn those soon.
With TKO's emphasis on celebrities to enhance the product's appeal to the general public, expect Speed to make at least several more appearances before the end of the calendar year. This will especially become a priority during the quieter wrestling periods between now and SummerSlam, then SummerSlam and Survivor Series, then the run into the next Royal Rumble.
What's next for Logan Paul and Austin Theory after their 'Mania loss?
Paul and Theory will lick their wounds as they look to likely sustain a feud with The Usos, and possibly circle back on their ongoing battle with former stable leader Seth Rollins.
What's next for The Usos and L.A. Knight following this win?
They'll likely still have a hand to play in this feud, but The Usos could back up whatever lies ahead for Roman Reigns.
Knight will continue champing at the bit for another huge title opportunity. He remains a huge fan favorite who gets warm welcomes for his name announcement: "L ... A ... Knight ... YEAH!"
