Jeremiyah Love Projected to Step Into NFL Franchise as ‘Future on Offense'
Unless you’ve been living under a very large rock, you know that the 2026 NFL draft is days away, and the anticipation is building ahead of the three-day event.
The draft is set for April 23 to 25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Some draft predictions are pretty much already decided, such as Fernando Mendoza going to the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 1 overall pick. In fact, now that the draft is almost here, quite a few of the top 10 selections are more solid than ever.
Chad Reuter rece discussed his draft day predictions for NFL.com.
“Since this mock is released nearly a full week before the draft begins, it won’t include last-minute information reported about prospects and teams’ potential interest in them,” he states in the feature. “I still predict four first-round trades, however, while also providing a wide-angle view about where teams can find value at positions of need throughout the event.”
For Notre Dame standout Jeremiyah Love, Reuter sees the future star player going to the Tennessee Titans as a no-brainer move. He also thinks Love will be the future of this team’s offense. No pressure there, right?

“Tony Pollard is entering a contract year, is about to turn 29 and has carried the ball over 750 times over the last three seasons. Love’s the top player on the board and, in this case, represents the team’s future on offense,” he says in the feature. “In the meantime, he can be eased into a rushing/receiving role as a rookie behind Pollard, giving the veteran some much-deserved relief, so that he can stay fresher throughout the season.”
Let’s discuss.
Love is considered one of top running backs in not only the draft but in the past few years of rookie running backs entering the NFL. The Titans need a lot of help, but having Love as their RB1 off the bat would absolutely bring this team’s offense up a notch.
Love will need more help on offense if he’s expected to really take the franchise to the next level, though. I see him as the center piece of the tam’s offense, along with the quarterback, that the Titans will have to build around.
