Vincent Kompany Speaks on Bayern Munich's Win

Following the victory, Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany described the game as a very emotional experience for him.

"It was a very emotional game. We had a lot of possession and always felt we could score. But Real Madrid remain Real Madrid. They have very quick players and are always a threat," he said.

Despite Madrid's first-half lead, Kompany praised his team for their resilience in recovering to win the match.

"The boys were mentally strong today to recover from setbacks. The fans helped us as well. We stayed calm and always felt that our moment would come. The boys deserved this win"

When asked if this was the biggest game of your managerial career? Kompany responded

"Yes, but the next game is the biggest. We keep going"

Bayern Munich will take on PSG in the semifinals, while Arsenal and Atletico Madrid meet in the other matchup.
