Final Injury Report for Heat-Hornets Play-In Game: Will Pelle Larsson, Nikola Jovic Play?
The Miami Heat are on the road on Tuesday night as they face off against the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament.
For Miami, they enter the Play-In Tournament as the No. 10 seed in the East after finishing the regular season with a 43-39 record after defeating the Atlanta Hawks at home in dominant fashion on Sunday night.
In Sunday's victory over the Hawks, Bam Adebayo led the way for the Heat as he recorded 25 points, 10 rebounds and three assists while Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 26 points and five assists of his own off the bench.
Now Miami will try to advance to the next round of the Play-In Tournament with a key victory on Tuesday as they face off against the Hornets in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Charlotte enters the Play-In Tournament as the No. 9 seed in the East after finishing the regular season with a 44-38 record following a victory over the New York Knicks on the road on Sunday night.
LaMelo Ball led the way for the Hornets in Sunday's victory as he ended the game with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists while Brandon Miller recorded 19 points and three rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory and avoid elimination in Tuesday night's matchup, one side may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Heat Injury Report: Will Pelle Larsson, Nikola Jovic Play?
For the Heat, they have three players listed on their injury report, including both Pelle Larsson and Nikola Jovic.
The Heat have ruled out Jovic due to a left ankle sprain that has kept him out the last four games and he will once again be sidelined for Tuesday's Play-In game.
With Jovic sidelined once again, Simone Fontecchio could continue to have an increased role off the bench.
Dru Smith has also been ruled out due to right foot soreness as he will miss his fifth straight game, though he had fallen out of Miami's rotation over the last month of the regular season.
Hornets Injury Report
On the other side, the Hornets have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out center PJ Hall.
Charlotte has ruled out Hall as he will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from surgery to repair a fractured right ankle.
