Air Jordan 3 Bin 23 Release Date, Price and Where to Buy
BIN 23 x Air Jordan collaborations are hit and miss, if I'm being totally honest. The Air Jordan 6 and the upcoming Air Jordan 4 are great examples of the luxury brand finding its stride with a Jordan silhouette. The AJ3, that one doesn't quite hit. When you consider the elevated price point and the limited quantities, this one doesn't walk through the door winning. Let's talk sneakers.

Where Can You Buy the AJ3 Bin 23?
As is always the case with BIN 23 drops, supplies will be limited. However, the BIN 23 AJ6 showed up on the SNKRS app for a short while. The AJ3 drops May 3 at $350 via NBHD and Tier 0 retailers.
The Air Jordan 4 'Bin 23' drops the same day at the same price. If you're choosing between the two, the AJ4 is the stronger shoe.
Why Doesn't the AJ3 Work for BIN 23?
The colorway is the issue. Team Red on an AJ3 with tonal elephant print doesn't create the contrast this silhouette needs. The red washes out where the AJ3 typically thrives on two-tone or three-tone blocking.
The Air Jordan 3 'Fireside' delivers a richer color story at $215 with more visual depth than the BIN 23 at $350.
What Does the AJ3 Bin 23 Look Like?
Unfortunately, it looks, at least from the early images, a bit cheap and that's the opposite of what any BIN 23 product should be. Premium suede and leather make up the upper with tonal elephant print at the toe and heel.
BIN 23 branding replaces standard Jordan details. The Air Jordan 3 'Santa' uses red more effectively on the same silhouette later this year.
Should You Buy the AJ3 Bin 23?
If you're a major BIN 23 fan or just a collector of all expensive sneakers, have at it. If not, there's probably a long list of sneakers you'd rather have that'll be cheaper and easier to find.
The Air Jordan 3 'Free The Youth' drops in December with a bolder colorway and a cultural story behind it at a lower price point.
