Richland football fans won’t have far to travel for this week’s Class 4A state semifinal against Central Valley.

The Bombers (12-0) and Bears (10-1) will kick off at 1 p.m. Saturday at Edgar Brown Stadium in Pasco.

Richland is coming off a thrilling 28-21 win over Gonzaga Prep in Spokane. It was just the third game for the Bombers this season decided by less than 30 points.

CV hammered Skyline 41-0 last weekend.

Gonzaga Prep lost 24-14 to Central Valley when the Greater Spokane League rivals played Oct. 6. The only other common opponent between the Bombers and Bears is Hanford: CV won 43-7 in a playoff crossover, the Bombers won 50-0 in their Mid-Columbia Conference finale.
