Pasco grad Howard notches first pro steeplechase win

Marisa (Vander Malle) Howard posted her first professional win, finishing first in the 3,000 meter steeplechase over the weekend at the Savo Games in Lapinlahti, Finland.

The Pasco High grad finished the race in 9 minutes, 30.92 seconds, dropping seven seconds off her personal best.

The victory concluded a strong run of races for Howard, who has been cracking top-three finishes and PRs for the past month.
