Letter: People have spoken again in voting no on the Link

Thanks for voting “No” on the Link. The people have spoken again. If you want to expand the Three Rivers campus, then take out a loan. We don’t need more sales taxes.

Why should the people pay for something they won’t use, and for the people who will go there, they will pay again to use it. To the people of the Link — take out a loan, make payments like everyone else has to, or find a company that will back you. Leave the people out of it.

We have too many people on fixed incomes, retired and disabled vets who just barely get by. They are being taxed to death.
