Letter: Trump a better candidate for jail than Clinton
The next time one of your Republican friends says, “Hillary Clinton is a crook,” tell them, “prove it!”
Republicans have tried every which way to convict Hillary Clinton of something, and have failed — no indictments, let alone convictions. Unlike Richard Nixon, Hillary Clinton can declare, “I am not a crook,” and the evidence supports her.
Republicans and their mouthpiece, Donald Trump, are hollering about how the system is rigged. They have a point. The Republican National Committee has rigged the Republican majority in the House of Representatives to act as a Super PAC for the RNC. They’ve used taxpayer money to endlessly investigate Hillary Clinton in an attempt to besmirch her reputation.
The Select Committee on Benghazi came up with nothing for the $7.3 million it has spent to date. Regarding the charge that Secretary Clinton mishandled classified information, Republicans heard FBI Director James Comey say, “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”
Donald Trump can bluster that Clinton should be in jail, but that’s the one institution for which he’s far and away the better candidate.
