Letter: Fewer offices on the ballot would make sense

Jason Mercier’s guest editorial in the Aug. 4 Tri-City Herald (“Having fewer offices on ballot would increase accountability”) makes very good sense to me. It also would cut costs, don’t you think?

Find a candidate or already elected official who would work to help bring such propositions before the House or Senate and then to the public for approval. (I speak state(s), not the Washington, D.C., mess.)

Go for it, Jason.

I also think the governor and lieutenant governor positions should be on the same ticket, just like president and vice president are elected.
