Letter: Thanks to those who returned my wallet at Winco

I want to acknowledge and say a very big “thank you” to the person(s) who found and returned my wallet to the staff at Winco on July 7.

I was quite upset when I found I had lost my wallet and upon initially checking with Winco, to be told the wallet had not been received by the staff. Not only did the wallet hold my cards, but also driver’s license, military ID card and insurance cards.

After going home and canceling all my cards, I decided to stop at the store one more time before proceeding to the Department of Licensing and Social Security offices (yes, dummy that I am, I had my Medicare card in my wallet). To my great relief and surprise, this time, some honest soul had found and returned the wallet to the store staff.

The person(s) who returned the wallet did not leave a name, so I have no other way of thanking them except through this letter. Their kindness will be paid forward whenever possible.
