Letter: Thanks to businesses that supported Southgate Elementary jog-a-thon

Thanks to businesses that supported Southgate Elementary jog-a-thon

This letter is very late, but we want to publicly acknowledge and thank these local businesses who sponsored our 10th Annual Southgate Elementary School Jog-A-Thon last fall.

First of all, Kadlec, our loyal and main sponsor — we appreciate your yearly support! Secondly, we greatly appreciate these businesses for sponsoring our Jog-A-Thon with monetary or in-kind gifts: Factory Direct Flooring, Heritage Nursery, Reese Concrete, Z-Pizza, Pacific Crest Financial, Dentistry for Kids, Agri-Service Northwest, Windermere/Jed Morris, Yokes Fresh Market (27th Avenue) and Stripe-Rite. Thanks to Atomic Screen-Printing for providing an affordable price so we could ensure every student and staff member received a T-shirt. Also, thank you to Roasters Coffee and HopJacks for donating coupon cards for prizes.

We encourage you to patronize these local businesses that support our schools. Thanks also to the parents, families, administration and staff who helped the event run smoothly and allowed the kids to have so much fun. The Jog-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser at Southgate Elementary and we use the monies raised to support our students, staff, and families.

We are so grateful to these businesses and everyone who helps to make Southgate Elementary School one of the best in the area!

Heidi Fox, Kennewick, Southgate PTG Secretary
