Letter: Vote Bill Jenkin to represent 16th Legislative District

I met Bill Jenkin in 2008 during my first of eight years as mayor for the city of Prosser. I have served on many boards with Bill over the years, many of which he chaired. From the first day I knew him, he has strived through action rather than words to improve his community.

He is a tireless advocate for every cause and organization that he gets involved with. While he is a successful business owner, he is also a selfless promoter and volunteer for many organizations, including the Prosser School Board, the Rotary and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties.

Whenever I met with Bill at City Hall about a problem, issue or opportunity on behalf of whatever group he was a leader in, he brought solutions with him. It has been my pleasure and an honor to have worked with Bill these last eight years. In my opinion he would truly be a great representative for the every person and town in the 16th Legislative District.
