Letter: Watch what candidates say very closely

We attended a voter’s forum recently at Ki-Be High School. Very informative.

While reading letters to the editor, I noticed a letter from Kate Moran endorsing Doug McKinley. Apparently we learned more about Doug in 15 minutes than she has learned during her acquaintance.

1. McKinley stated our Rep. Dan Newhouse was not in Washington, D.C., as noted in an earlier statement, and missed an important vote on July 14. Dan voted in Washington, D.C.!

2. McKinley said everyone at Walmart is on minimum wage and supported a $15 per hour minimum wage hike. I know better.

I’m not a Newhouse fan, but do not accept lies from candidates either.
