Letter: Businesses near Toyota Center should pay for majority of investment
Once again the public is being asked to fund investment in the Toyota Center via an increase in sales taxes. While I generally support investments in my community, I also think those who will benefit the most should be asked to pay the most.
In this case, I refer to the hotels, restaurants, and other businesses in the immediate vicinity of the Toyota Center. Until I see them paying for the majority of the investment, I will continue to vote no on such proposals.
