Letter: Vote for Bill Jenkin for state representative
After working with William “Bill” Jenkin on the Prosser School Board for a year, I can confidently state that Bill is an excellent choice for the office of 16th Legislative District representative.
Bill has dedicated much of his time to providing the children of our community with opportunities to learn and succeed. He has shown this dedication as the president of the Prosser School Board and as a founding chairman of the Prosser Boys & Girls Club. Not only is Bill proud of the fact that Prosser is one of the only school boards in our area that supports student representatives, but he also strives to treat these student representatives as his equals.
It is important to have leaders in our community who instill confidence in and serve as mentors to to our leaders of the future. I encourage you to be an active voter in the upcoming primary election, and join Bill for a meet and greet from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at 1032 Concord Way in Prosser, to learn more about his policies.
