Letters to the Editor

Letter: Do you trust Trump to follow through on any of his grandiose plans?

I’m addressing this letter to all Trump supporters. How do you feel about Trump’s only newspaper endorsement coming from a paper in North Korea?

Trump says he supports veterans, yet he only respects those who didn’t get caught, denigrating John McCain, the war hero who spent years in a North Vietnamese prison.

How would you feel had you spent $30,000 you borrowed for classes at the now-defunct Trump University for worthless “get-rich-quick” classes, similar to what’s offered on late-night TV infomercials?

Trump claims his several bankruptcies were sound business decisions. As a business person who has lost money owed to me when my customer files bankruptcy, I know that those who lose money are genuinely hurt in the process.

Are you perhaps a farmer who will lose his market for exports to China should Trump carry out his isolationist trade policies? With 80 percent of farm workers undocumented, how would you deal with crops rotting in the fields should Trump start mass deportations?

Finally, do you trust him to follow through on any of his grandiose plans, when he has given no details as to how they would be carried out?
