Letter: Republicans in denial about state of the economy
Republicans in denial about state of the economy
Contrary to what most Republicans choose to believe — blaming our current president for what they call a poor economy — obviously they live in denial of the obvious.
What the problem of long lines and long waits to check in at airports also indicates is how well our present economy is doing, allowing a large part of our population to travel by air. Another indication is how our roads and highways are filled with newer-model automobiles.
Compare this to the collapse of the 2008 economy when a Republican president was in office. Something most Republicans would never admit.
