Letter: Tri-Cities needs to become more pedestrian-friendly

Trying to increase tourism in the Tri-Cities is pointless unless our area becomes more pedestrian-friendly.

Most of the world’s great travel destinations are pedestrian-friendly. Here, the drivers seem to think it’s OK to ignore anybody who isn’t in a car.

Without change, we are just inviting visitors to our cities to be ran over.
