Letter: There must be other areas in Richland to build a public market

Kudos to the Richland City Council for standing your ground on the public market proposal.

I don’t oppose the concept, only its proposed location. There is no parking, and it would only add to the congestion already in that area. It’s bad enough with the Friday market on the Parkway when the roads are blocked. And the WinCo complex at the entrance to Richland has more than enough traffic problems. At least there’s adequate parking there.

There have to be other more open and accessible areas in Richland? If you build it they will come regardless of location.
