Letter: Disappointed by cartoon in Herald
I am surprised, saddened, and greatly disappointed that the Tri-City Herald published the editorial cartoon they did on Page 2C of the April 24 paper.
The drawing and content of the comic reinforces the misconception and discrimination of people who have the right, and deserve the right, to use the restroom and locker room that corresponds with their gender identity. It is narrow-minded, fear mongering messages like this comic that propagate hate and discrimination.
