Letter: Saddened and angry about marijuana-themed comedy show

I was both saddened and angry at the recent headline “Pot themed comedy show.” Five comedians will do their standup comedy sober, then go somewhere and get way too high, and return for another set stoned on marijuana.

Really? Are we that jaded about marijuana use that it is something to laugh at? Are we that desperate to find something to laugh about? Whatever happened to real adults being good role models for young people to look up to?

I fear for the survival of our nation with this kind of example and attitude.
