Letter: Ted Cruz not qualified to be president

Ted Cruz has the right to run for president, but he is not qualified for president.

Amendment XIV states: “All persons born or naturalized in US and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

The above statement says there are two groups of citizens all having the same rights, except the president of the U.S. must be natural born and not naturalized.

Ted Cruz is like a dog chasing a car. What happens when the dog catches the car, he cannot open the door and get in? Cruz’s Canadian citizenship stops him from becoming president.

The media needs to point out Cruz is not qualified for president.
