Letter: Trump loves to hear himself talk
You all know Trump loves to hear himself talk. So do voters. They also seem to love his exaggerations, obscenities, meanness, and lack of decency toward others (except those who might help him). They even applaud his wish to have water-boarding “and worse” in his tool kit. In your name.
Self-deceit is easy. So I want to leave you with thoughts of Voltaire to put to memory: “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”
Probably as true today as they were 300 years ago.
