Letter: Our politicians no longer run our country for the betterment of America

It is really a sad state of affairs when you don’t want to vote for anyone on the presidential ballot this year. What has become of our people? Do we have no pride anymore?

We say our country is broken — and it is. The problem is that this country is now made up of a majority of selfish, belligerent, and entitled people, or at least they feel they are entitled. And the media does not help the problem. I love America and would never betray her.

Our politicians no longer run our country for the betterment of America. They are in it for the benefits for themselves. Maybe it is time for term limits and get rid of lifetime retirement benefits. We, the people, certainly are not guaranteed lifetime benefits and cannot just go print more money to cover our debts. Come on politicians, grow up, stop acting like spoiled and entitled brats.
