Letter: Not everyone should be required to vote
Why do President Obama and many other liberals promote the idea that maybe everyone should be required to vote? Going way beyond even the insanity of supporting same-day registration, and that anyone should be able to vote in this country whether they can be verified as a legal citizen or not.
Our Founding Fathers knew full well that a democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government when the voting electorate is so diluted with uninformed voters that they are easily influenced by emotion and by the elite liberals and or progressives. In order to vote themselves more money and security in the form of government programs to take care of them from cradle to grave. Willing to give up more and more of their freedoms to a liberal elitist group of people who think that they know what is best for everyone.
