Letter: Presidential candidates should be sent back to kindergarten

What has happened in our great country? People campaigning for president act like a bunch of kids who need their behinds tanned.

Years ago, only one person spoke at a time. We were polite and were taught manners. We didn’t swear. If my mother had caught me using words some of the candidates use, she would have washed my mouth with soap, I would still be blowing bubbles.

How can we the voters know what the candidates’ ideas for running the country are if they are yelling at each other and making funny, stupid faces? I call this childish. Maybe we ought to send them back to kindergarten.

The other side doesn’t remember we defeated communism (socialism). How sad it would be to have our great country regress back to what us ex-GIs served for to keep it away from our shores. All communists are socialists, but not all socialists are communists. Sometimes the dividing line is very blurry.
