Letter: Taking pets away interferes with people’s lives

I’ve read the Feb. 20 paper and saw the account of the pets taken away from the couple in Pasco. There is no such thing as “just” an animal! The people that had their pets taken away from them should be able to get them back. There was no excuse that I know of for any mean-spirited individual to complain about them as long as they were taken care of and loved.

I know of some people who are very less than perfect, I am a very elderly person — deaf as a post without my hearing aids — and I can safely say there are animals that are a whole lot nicer than some people.

The “complainer” was interfering in their lives. They were, until their pets were taken away from them, living a happy peaceful life.

My children, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren all agree with me.

I think that some laws are faulty in certain circumstances.
