Letter: Not interested in what ACLU says about Pasco police

I am not in the least interested in what the ACLU has to say about the Pasco Police Department. The ACLU is an outside organization full of lawyers, going from place to place trying to bend society to its liberal point of view.

Pasco, like most police departments around the country, is underfunded and understaffed. Everyday officers show up and go out into a community that is looking more and more like a combat zone. They do the best they can and try and make it home safe at the end of their shifts.

If Mr. Vargas would like there to be better interaction between Pasco police and the people that Mr. Vargas represents, then it would be incumbent upon him to work with those committing crimes in their community and they would not have to interact with the police at all.
