Letter: Where are all the grocery stores in the Tri-Cities?

I read with interest an article in the Herald about “food deserts” here in the Tri-Cities. As a new person to this area I am amazed at the lack of neighborhood grocery stores.

With all the continued growth, I believe our city planners might want to encourage some vendors to examine the opportunities here.
