Letter: Politicians’ governing ability seems to be sorely lacking
I don’t know why so many are bad mouthing Bernie Sanders. After all, he has promised that once he is elected he will direct his Secretary of Agriculture to plant that tree on which all the free stuff grows.
He has promised to raise the taxes on everyone, with especial emphasis on the wealthy. He plans to tax them for 90 percent plus and confiscate their wealth in order to achieve income equality, thereby ensuring that we all are equally miserable. He also plans to raise the taxes on corporations, thereby inducing these evil job-producing entities to move elsewhere. He will give us all free health care, free college education, free welfare benefits, etc. All this for only about $19 trillion.
The Republicans are not being realistic. They should be fearing all these good ideas which will favor the Democrats. Instead they are licking their chops with glee. Oh well, maybe it’s because Mr. Trump has promised to make us great again. Maybe he will let some of us fly in his fancy airplane or helicopter if we vote for him. Ge,e aren’t the politicians wonderful. It’s too bad that their governing ability seems to be so sorely lacking.
