Letter: ‘Family bathrooms’ would easily solve transgender issue

The issue of transgender people using bathrooms of the sex with which they identify is easily solved by using a “family bathroom.” There are many of these already available in public areas, so just use them. Schools could continue having the student use a restroom privately designated by the school they attend, so all students may have a comfortable experience.

As an aside, great job providing nice restrooms at the remodeled airport for the ladies, but the door provides very little privacy because of the large gaps on both sides of the door. I would rather use the plane toilet than “expose” my body at the airport.
