Letter: Some suggestions regarding the upcoming election
The United States is a great country and will continue to be great regardless of who is elected president in the upcoming election (clearly proven by history). This is because of the foresight of our founding fathers, including the structure of our government and the balance of power. They had our backs.
I do, humbly, offer some thoughts regarding the upcoming election to both candidates and voters:
▪ Respect others’ political opinions and listen openly (you might learn something).
▪ It is about our country as a whole, not one political party or one individual.
▪ Stop rambling on and blaming past presidents of either party, this is just plain silly.
▪ Just because someone has an opinion different than yours does not mean they are inferior.
▪ To the candidates, focus on your solutions, not what is wrong with other candidates or parties.
▪ To the voters, educate yourself first and then exercise your right to vote. Many have given the extreme sacrifice so we can vote and we should not waste that right or take it lightly.
