Letter: Thanks to Goodwill and St. Vincent de Paul for delivery
After asking many people and calling every agency I could think of and getting little or no response, I want to thank Goodwill in Richland for the Christmas tree and St. Vincent de Paul for delivery to my house.
For our large area, 200,000 people, we have a need for volunteers that is very difficult to fill, whether it is yard work or a ride home from a doctor’s office. Dial-A-Ride is great if you need it, but without a car there is no way to get large items home.
Young people, especially, should know that the word “volunteer” looks very good on your resume.
