Letter: Focus on actual problems, rather than stirring division, hate and discontent

I see where our local state representative, Brad Klippert, has decided to jump on the bandwagon demonizing the LGBT community.

It never ceases to amaze me that members of a party dedicated to a smaller, less-intrusive government are so concerned with what consenting adults do behind closed doors, demanding that the government intrude on those private lives and allow discrimination based on religious intolerance.

Perhaps it is time we found a representative more willing to focus on actual problems rather than those pseudo-issues generated to stir division, hate and discontent.
