Letter: Consider donations of food for Tri-Cities Animal Shelter

My New Year’s resolution is every time I buy dog food, bones or toys, I buy extra for the Tri-Cities animal shelter.

If more people did this, the more money the shelter saves on feeding the animals. The shelter can use the money they save to hire an extra person to help with the animals. Or make repairs to the shelter. I hope people give some thought to this idea and act on it.
