Letter: Need decoys for geese at Columbia Point Golf Course

The recent Herald article about decoy dogs being used at PNNL to discourage geese piqued my interest. Could not something similar be used at Columbia Point Golf Course?

Right now, the course is a veritable quagmire of mucky goose dung making the course nearly unplayable. One benefit of the mild Tri-City winters is the ability to play golf nearly year-round. It is a shame that Columbia Point has such limited winter utility.

Do the fertilizer savings offset the playing revenue loss from this problem? City of Richland, is there no solution?
