Letter: Vote yes for Kennewick school levy on Feb. 9
Please support the Kennewick School District levy with a yes vote. This is a two-year maintenance and operations levy to replace the current levy that will expire later this year.
Your assessed property value will remain at the same rate (no increase). Levy dollars provide about 20 percent of the Kennewick School District’s budget. This will secure necessary funding in many important areas such as student learning programs, computers in the classrooms, athletics, activities and building maintenance.
The city of Kennewick has always had a proud tradition of supporting our schools. Please join us and vote yes by Feb. 9.
