Letters to the Editor

Letter: Is your private information safe and sound?

Imagine being affected by a massive cyber-intrusion carried out against our government. Information regarding your Social Security number, fingerprints, previous addresses, place(s) of residence and employment are stolen.

Far-fetched? Safe and sound? Negative! I just received notification from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Beth F. Cobert, acting director, that the above is a fact.

How comfortable are you with a presidential candidate who used a private server to conduct government business? How comfortable are you with our borders? Safe and sound.

Kurt Lewis, Richland
