Letter: Senator not interested in what constituents have to say
Trying to communicate with Sen. Patty Murray is like trying to request a hearing with the queen. If you finally locate her email and send her an email, she may respond. If you receive a response to your email and reply back it will come back as “permanently undeliverable.”
I called the senator’s Yakima office and was referred to the Seattle office. I was informed that when the senator responds, and I decide to respond, my response will be undeliverable. They stated that my reply is not accepted, but I could call the senator’s office and they would give me the specific government office to direct my comments too.
I am left with the assumption that the senator replies, but beyond that she is not interested in what her constituents have to say. Is it any wonder why the majority of the country believes Washington, D.C. is so dysfunctional?
