Letter: All immigration from all over the world should stop until problems solved

I don’t ever remember such euphoria as I see over these supposed Syrian refugees. Most of the liberal articles on the editorial page have promoted the resettlement of these refugees.

Democrats and Republicans have refused to take the necessary steps to protect the American people. They allocated the money necessary to import and resettle a great number of these immigrants. They have neglected to finish building the border fence to help stop illegal immigration. They refused to end the sanctuary cities where criminals hide.

Homeland Security has failed in its effort to stop border crossing by illegal immigrants. They have purposely turned many loose in the U.S.

The immigration service has admitted they couldn’t properly check the female shooter in San Bernardino, yet we are assured they can properly vet these refugees. That isn’t what the director of the FBI says! And ISIS has declared they will infiltrate these refugees.

The lives of American citizens are precious. Common sense should prevail over emotion. All immigration from all over the world should stop until the vetting problems, the visa problems, Homeland Security problems and immigration service problems are solved.

I sorrow because of what America is going to suffer.
