Letter: Thanks to Richland crew for clearing snow along bike path

I just want to express my appreciation for the Richland road maintenance crew clearing the snow from the bike path along the Columbia after the recent snowfall.

I ride my bike to work, so the crew made my ride much easier and safer. I pay taxes, so I appreciate their attention to bike paths as well as roads. I was not the only one commuting by bicycle.

They make Richland a pleasant city to ride in, making it easy for people to get out of their cars and onto their bikes. I thank them for their commitment to supporting year-round bicycle transportation. It’s a wonderful alternative to driving.
