Letter: Your vote really does make a difference

I believe the reason people are not voting in today’s elections is because of the lack of education on the subject. People do not realize the importance of voting, how it can affect them personally and how their vote can help to uplift their community.

If there is a community election happening, I believe that if you are of legal age, you should be voting and not just randomly filling out a ballot. I think you should really understand what each candidate is standing for and make a good decision on who you think would best fill their position.

Even if you think your vote is not going to make a difference, it will. So go out and participate in your community and vote!
