Letter: Profanity in TV shows is indeed unnecessary

Regarding the letter “Downward Spiral of TV Stations” in the TCH Nov. 8.

I wholeheartedly agree that the increased use of Christ, Jesus Christ and God Damn is totally unnecessary! How does profanity improve the story? I tolerate them. But I cannot tolerate the F-bomb and the like.

I miss a lot of shows because of the profanity!
