Letter: Thanks to Sacajawea students for shoveling snow
We all have many things to be thankful for this time of year. Good food, good friends and very good neighbors of all ages.
Monday, Nov. 23, I had shoulder surgery to repair a rotator cuff. Much to my surprise Tuesday, I awoke to the first snowfall of winter. Looking out the window my wife and I were pondering the need to shovel snow.
I couldn’t do it, so my wife began looking for a warm coat to head outside to take on the task. Just then I saw three young girls headed towards the house, snow shovels in hand, wanting to know if they could shovel our sidewalk. No payment needed, just looking to help someone out.
I am really thankful for Sacajawea school kids like Gianna, Cati and Dakota who just wanted to help out and make a difference.
