Letter: Polite ghosts and goblins in Burbank on Halloween
To all the ghosts and goblins in Burbank this year, I have to take a moment and comment how polite everyone was.
Of all the close to 50 trick or treaters we had, not one failed to say thank you. I even got a kiss and hug from a little scarecrow who was about 3 years old. His parents can’t even begin to know what joy that little gesture from such a sweet child brought to me.
Everyone remembered to close the gates, this has to be the first year that has happened. All the children were dressed so cute, and seemed to be having fun. It brought back some good memories of when I was on that side of the door.
