Letter: Bernie Sanders actually won first Democratic debate

According to the mainstream media and our newspaper, it would appear that Hillary Clinton had won the first Democratic debate.

However, if one turns away from corporate-owned sources, a different conclusion can be reached. Bernie Sanders won two audience focus groups, one on CNN and one on Fox. He also won 17 online polls including one by CNN, which has since disappeared from its page.

Finally, Bernie Sanders gained 35,163 new Twitter followers during the 150-minute debate. Meanwhile, the other four Democrats gained a total of just 23,219 new followers — combined — led by Hillary Clinton, who added 13,252 new Twitter followers by herself.

News sites not owned by the corporate media have come to a different conclusion. Please inform yourself at www.BernieSanders.com and www.FeelTheBern.org.
