This letter is written on behalf of the IAFF Local 1052, and we fully endorse Randy Fox to retain his commissioner status for Position 4 for the 2015 Benton County elections — West Benton Regional Fire Authority commissioner
Commissioner Randy Fox has served the Prosser community as fire commissioner and chairman of the board for more than 10 years. Under his leadership, the community has seen an efficient and effective emergency services agency develop to today’s professional standards.
Commissioner Fox was instrumental in overseeing the replacement of outdated fire apparatus and equipment, which enhanced our level of service and firefighter training/safety. He endorsed the Prosser Fire District 3 Citizen’s Task Force Committee, which led to creating a successful strategic plan resulting in the formation of the West Benton Regional Fire Authority.
Commissioner Fox’s experience, leadership and direction has fostered plans set forth by the Citizen’s Task Force and the Regional Fire Authority to ensure strong, viable levels of emergency services to meet the future needs of protecting our community.
