Letter: Vote Strickler for Richland School Board
I strongly recommend the re-election of Phyllis Strickler to Position 5 on the Richland School Board.
I have worked with Phyllis on the board and have observed her valuable contributions to the Richland School District for 20 years. Here are five important reasons to reelect Phyllis:
1. Believes high standards must be maintained for students to achieve in core skills and knowledge in preparing them for life.
2. Is responsible in spending the district’s limited resources for education and facilities.
3. Comes to board meetings well-prepared and weighs all sides of an issue in a thoughtful way in making decisions about what is best for students.
4. Maintains good communications among staff, parents, students, and community.
5. Has exceptional experience as an educator, including as a teacher.
