We have known Kathleen Barton for more than 30 years. We know Kathleen to be a thoughtful person who follows through on things she promises to do. She listens to what everyone has to say before she makes decisions. She plans before she acts.
Kathleen has shown leadership in a variety of positions, such as head of the English Department at Pasco High School.
In her teaching career Kathleen has had many valuable experiences. Teaching at many levels gives her perspective on the K-12 system. She would be a good voice for what teachers in the classroom need to be effective.
